Creating Opportunities for Young Women Through Education and Leadership
The EmpowerHer Initiative was launched in 2024 to ensure that young women have access to leadership training, mentorship, and essential resources that help them excel academically, socially, and professionally. Many girls in underserved communities face barriers to education and career development, including limited access to sanitary protection, reproductive health education, and leadership opportunities.
EmpowerHer was designed to eliminate these barriers by providing menstrual health support, mentorship, career-building programs, and leadership training. The initiative also introduced STEMHer, a specialized program that encourages young women to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through mentorship, workshops, and industry exposure.
Since its inception, EmpowerHer has helped increase school attendance, expanded leadership opportunities, and empowered young women with the confidence to take charge of their futures.
